What does a Salt Scrub do for my skin?

Salt crystals have sharper edges, making it more abrasive and perfect for smoothing out rough skin. We use Epsom Salts in our salt scrubs, rich in magnesium sulphate which is both therapeutic and relaxing. The magnesium helps take down inflammation while sulphates flush out toxins. Salt scrubbing invigorates the skin, improves circulation, removes bacteria and unclogs pores. 

What does a sugar scrub do for my skin?

Cane Sugar crystals have  rounder edges which means it is not as abrasive on the skin as salt. This option is perfect for sensitive skin. Sugar buffs the skin without causing irritation or dryness, dissolving easily in hot water, and leaving your skin feeling smooth and clean.

Cane Sugar is also. a humectant which means it draws moisture from the air to your skin. And that means more skin hydration

What does Apricot Kernel Shell do for my skin?

We use ground Apricot Kernel Shells in our Lavender Body Scrub. It doesn't dissolve in water which makes for a longer scrub. It is gentle yet provides deep-cleaning, renewing and detoxifying all skin types.  

What does a coffee scrub do for my skin?

Coffee beans don't dissolve in water which means its great for a longer scrub. can help with scars, stretch marks, dry skin, body breakouts, keratosis pilaris, and cellulite, to name a few. Regular massaging, exfoliation, and moisture can help fade the appearance of marks & scars. It can also help smooth over stubborn lumps & bumps found anywhere from the backs of your arms to your booty. It’s safe to say the scrubbing benefits are endless.

Is it Vegan?

Yes, it is! It's made from all things plant.

What's the shelf life? Do I have to refrigerate the Body Scrubs?

Our Body Scrubs are anhydrous—meaning they are made of oils and oil friendly ingredients; no water is in these formulae. So that means we don't need a broad spectrum preservative in this formula. But we do add Tocopherol, also known as Vitamin E. Its anti-oxidant properties extend the shelf life of Body Butter up to a year. No, you don't need to refrigerate it.

How do I know if the Body Scrubs will work for me?

Honestly, you won’t know until you try. That being said, our Body Scrubs are a perfect choice for those who want to make the shift to natural ingredients for sustained, long term, radiant skin health without sacrificing effectiveness or ease of use.

Can I use Body Scrub on my face?

The sugar scrubs—Rose Garden and Espresso— are gentle enough to use on your face, if you want something more scrubby than the plant powders and clays in our Face Chai Mask Grains
