SOAP BAR FAQ's
Is the Thieves Soap Anti-Bacterial?
Our Thieves Soaps are blended with Essential Oils that, according to the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and Aromatherapy, are known to have anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral properties.
How much scent is there in your soaps?
Our soaps are not scented to overwhelm or give you a headache. If you are scent sensitive, we have Unscented options, too.
What do you use to scent your soaps?
We use Essential Oils. These have been added to our soap in accordance with Health Canada's regulations for use of Natural ingredients in Bath and Body Products.
We also use non-toxic fragrance oils for their scent as well as their ability to extend the scent life of Essential Oils. These have been used lightly and sparingly.
What do you use to colour your soaps?
We use mica and glycerin. Both are natural and non-toxic.
Is it Vegan?
Yes! Our soaps are make with vegetable derived oils and supporting ingredients.
Will the Soaps irritate my skin?
Honestly, you won’t know until you try. That being said, our Shea Butter, Buttermilk and Foaming Soaps are a perfect choice for those who tend to react to harsh surfactants. They are also gentle on the environment, too.
We suggested starting with unscented versions of our soaps and going from there.
