We've prepared this Ayurveda Oil the old school way, using a family recipe. Castor, Camphor, Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Mustard Seed, Ajwain Seed, Coriander Seed, Clove and Cinnamon Oils work together for a wonderfully healing massage.

Use it the Ayurveda way—warm up the oils before you apply them. Warm oils penetrate skin faster, are soothing to muscles and create a smoother, slippier massage.

Sometimes your Body just needs to talk it out. We Listened. Our Body Therapy line is designed to give your body and skin some relief from this stressful world.

How to Use

It order for your muscles to fully benefit from Ma's Massage Oil , we suggest:

1. Warm up the Oil.
Place 15-20ml Tablespoons of Oil In a small bowl. Heat the bowl over a tea candle. Or place the bowl in a small container of boiled water, taking care not to get water in your oil. Heat more oil as needed.

2. The Massage
Think of an Ayurveda Oil Massage as a way to keep your body systems running optimally by helping stuck energies and fluids move through. It's not meant just as a curative for an ache or pain. It's meant to calm the nervous system and ground everything.

Rub a small amount of Ma's Massage Oil between your hands. Apply to skin, massaging with medium pressure. Use long strokes along the bones of the limbs and circular movements over the joints. as you go. Reapply as necessary.

3. Hot, steamy shower
After the massage take a steamy shower. The steam helps you sweat out the toxins that the massage loosened. The hot water adds further relaxation to your muscles.

4. Do something relaxing
After your shower, take it easy. You might be feeling a bit floaty and relaxed. Rest, mediate, sleep.

This week, I had a massage and took Ma's Massage Oil with me (tucked into my waistband to warm it up on the way). My massage therapist loved the aroma and described its viscosity as "beautiful". As for me, I sunk into a deeper level of healing and release. Wow! Thanks!!

MA'S MASSAGE OIL FAQ'S

Is it vegan-friendly? Is it cruelty-free?

It is Vegan-friendly.

It is cruelty-free. It has only been tested on willing, happy humans.

What's the shelf life? Do I have to refrigerate Ma's Massage Oil?

Our Ma's Massage Oil is anhydrous—meaning it's made of oils and oil friendly ingredients; no water is in this formula. So that means we don't need a broad spectrum preservative in this formula. But we do add Tocopherol, also known as Vitamin E. It's anti-oxidant properties extend the shelf life of Ma's Massage Oil up to a year. No, you don't need to refrigerate it.

Is Ma's Massage Oil safe for sensitive skin?

While many of the ingredients are gentle Infusions of Botanicals into carrier oils, essential oils can be potent. It's advisable to perform a patch test on a small area of skin to check for any adverse reactions, especially if you have sensitive skin.

How often should I apply the Massage Oil?

The frequency of application can vary depending on your needs. For daily muscle and joint care, applying it once or twice a day, especially before bathing or before bedtime, can be beneficial.

Can I use Ma's Massage Balm alongside my other medications?

Consult with a healthcare professional before using the Head Balm alongside other medications, to find out if there are any contra-indications between your prescription and the essential oils in the blend.

I've heard Camphor and Eucalyptus oil can be dangerous for children when swallowed.

In response to this is a potential concern, Health Canada requires all essential oils be included in a receipe to a determined safe amount before they will approve it. Our recipe is in compliance with Health Canada's standards.
