Why do you mix Essential Oils with Fragrance oils in your Uplift blends?

Humans know a good thing when we find it--we've been using Aromatherapy for centuries for our wellness and emotional wellbeing. 

Derived from plants, essential Oils are full of amazing aromas and properties that can positively affect physical, emotional and mental health. But one of the things they don’t do well is stick around for a long period of time. The scent in essential oils will evaporate quickly.

Non-toxic Fragrance oils are manufactured aromatic or perfume oils, designed to mimic a natural scent. It is thought that they, too, can provide aromatherapy benefits in terms of scent uplift.

What Non-toxic Fragrance oils do really well is be more stable, last longer, extend product shelf life and create a foundation to keep essential oils from evaporating too quickly.

Will your Scent blends bother my scent sensitivities?

We have done our best to source Essential oils and non-toxic fragrance oils. But we can't guarantee they won't trigger a reaction. While fragrance oils can trigger scent sensitivities, so can essential oils. How our scents work with you is an individual experience.

Will the Scent last on my skin for a long time?

Honestly, you won’t know until you try.

Perfume and skin are funny together, sometimes. We have met people for whom a scent will last all day and others for whom scent evaporates in the first five minutes of application, and everyone in between.

How strong is the Scent in an Ultrasonic diffuser?

We had our peeps test our Uplift oils at different dilution levels in an ultrasonic diffuser to find the most optimum ratio. They diffused the oil blend at: 

100% Scent blend
75:25 Scent blendto coconut oil
50:50 Scent blend to coconut oil
25:75 Scent blend to coconut oil

The winner was the 50:50 blend. They reported that at this ratio, they found the Oils to be pleasant, non-overwhelming, while experiencing therapeutic benefits.

Is it Vegan?

Yes! Our Scents for the Soul are make with plant oils, non-toxic fragrance oils and supporting non-animal ingredients.

How many drops of Scent Oil do I need in my diffuser?

Start with 3-5 drops. Add more as required.
